Am I Eligible?

Mentors

  • Be a Registered Dietitian in the US (state licensure is not required)

  • Be able to mentor a student virtually (via phone, email, web conferencing)

  • Have a project for mentees to work

  • Complete the RD Mentor Application and Consent Form

  • Be interested in training the next generation of RDs

Mentees

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must reside in the United States

  • Be a junior, senior, or graduate nutrition student

  • Must be previously or currently enrolled in an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)--accredited nutrition program

  • Plan to pursue the path to becoming a Registered Dietitian 

  • Complete the RD Mentee Application and Consent Form

  • Be eager to learn about the role of an RD
